Last updated: 2026-10-15

Every text here is our own, and so is every drawing. If you still find something on trans-cam.net that you own the rights to and did not license to us, we take it down after a proper notice.

1. Contents of a notice

Send it through the contact form with the topic “Copyright”. Under 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3) a notice needs:

  • which work you say is infringed – a sample list will do when several are concerned;
  • the full URL on trans-cam.net that shows the disputed material;
  • how we can contact you: name, street address, telephone and email;
  • why you believe, in good faith, that nobody entitled to allow it – owner, agent or statute – has permitted this use;
  • a sworn assurance (under penalty of perjury) that your details are accurate and that the rights are yours or entrusted to you;
  • your signature; on paper or typed, your full name suffices.

2. How we handle it

We confirm receipt, check the page in question and, if the notice is complete, remove or disable the material promptly. Where we can identify the person who supplied it, we let them know. Incomplete notices get a reply that lists what is missing.

3. Counter-notice

Send a counter-notice that names the removed material and its former location; declares under penalty of perjury your good-faith view that it was taken down by error or confusion; gives your name, address and telephone number; accepts the jurisdiction of the federal court for your judicial district (senders outside the US: a district in which we are subject to suit); and is signed. If 10–14 working days pass without the complainant showing us that court proceedings have begun, we may put the material back.

4. Streams and profiles elsewhere

Video streams, profile pictures and chat content on cam platforms are hosted by those platforms, not by us. Please send notices about such material to the operator of the platform concerned; we will remove our link to it if you ask.

5. Misuse

Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), deliberately false notices can lead to a damages claim against their sender. Be sure of your position first.
